Park Coffee House will welcome dynamic string musicians Nick Piccininni and Joe Davoli back to Holland Patent on Saturday, April 22. The doors open at 7:00 PM, and showtime is 7:30 PM. Admission is $12.00, $5.00 for students and no charge for children 12 and younger. Nick Piccininni first performed at Park Coffee House in his teens when he was a member of the youthful group Blue Lightning. He got his start performing bluegrass music on a five string banjo, playing and touring with multiple bands. Nick has made his mark as a highly proficient multi-talented instrumentalist, songwriter, and entertainer. He demonstrates his musical gifts on guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, and as a vocalist. In January 2020, Nick joined Yonder Mountain String Band, a group that received a GRAMMY nomination last year. Joe Davoli is an award-winning performer of several styles of music including Celtic, rock, jazz, bluegrass, blues, and classical. He is a graduate of DePaul University, attended the Berklee School of Music, and studied with several improvisational performers. Joe has composed and recorded music for an off-Broadway revival, served as a musical supervisor for a short film, and has published a successful method book for fiddle and mandolin. He has been honored with two Syracuse Area Music Awards and is a North American Fiddlers Hall of Fame inductee. Joe is a member of Ceili Rain, a Syracuse based innovative band. Don’t miss this performance by Nick Piccininni, a member of a GRAMMY nominated band, and Joe Davoli, an in-demand musician. They are sure to deliver an evening of entertainment showcasing their masterful talents. You’ll also be able to enjoy homemade desserts prepared by Park Coffee House volunteers. Coffee, tea, cider, and coco are also served. The refreshments are available for a donation, that benefits the local food pantry. Park Coffee House and the food pantry are both programs of Foothills Rural Community Ministry, a non-denominational charity. There’s more great acoustic music ahead at Park Coffee House. Dan Berggren, Peggy Lynn, and Dan Duggan will perform together as Jamcrackers on May 6. John Kirk and Trish Miller return on May 22, and the season concludes on June 3 with a Local Favorites Fundraiser.
